About Dr. Jameel Moksa Battle

Dr. Jameel is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio.  He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont, his Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University in Los Angeles, California, and his Master of Athletic Training from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Dr. Jameel is one of the few clinicians in the country who combines modern physical therapy and sports medicine practices with the time-honored traditions of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. This rare combination is one of a kind. He lives and works by his B9 Philosophy for health and wellness of the mind, body, and spirit.

Dr. Jameel brings a wealth of clinical experience and an eclectic approach to his treatments. He specializes in Orthopedic and Sports Rehabilitation with special interests in Manual Medicine, and Sports Medicine Acupuncture. He also has experience treating a wide range of orthopedic and sports injuries.  This includes experience working in professional sports providing his unique integrative approach to sports medicine and physical rehabilitation protocols for organizations and players in Major League Baseball (MLB), National Basketball Association (NBA), Major League Lacrosse (MLL), and The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

Dr. Jameel uses an evidence-based approach to improve patient outcomes.  His goal is to transform physical rehabilitation and athletic performance by synthesizing Eastern and Western medical modalities into an efficacious, evidence-based, integrative method.  In his free time, he enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with his three nephews.
